The task

Toyota Germany wants to give a glimpse into an emission-free and electrified future at the “Let’s go Beyond Zero Summit 2022”. The goal of the measure: to perceive Toyota as a visionary mobility player. The six-day event on the campus of Toyota Germany in Cologne is aimed at employees, dealers and business partners. The idea: The Beyond Zero event was to symbolize the start of a new era at Toyota, with all participants crossing the “zero” and officially ushering in the Beyond Zero era.

The Artlife solution

The symbol for the “Zero Line” is the “Beyond Zero Gate”. Elaborate structural calculations were required for the 15-meter-wide and 15-meter-high gate based on a Layher substructure. In order to secure the mesh-covered and Dibond-clad structure against strong wind loads, the gate was stabilized with eight-ton weights.

In addition to individual special structures, we also supplied the extension of presentation rooms in the test and development center as well as the stage construction in the Toyota Collection, the showroom with the largest Toyota collection outside Japan.
