The task

Every two years, Eurosatory – the world’s leading trade fair for security and defense – takes place in Paris. Rheinmetall is one of the largest exhibitors with an outdoor area of almost 2,000 square meters. In addition to a spacious outdoor area for the exhibits, what is needed above all is plenty of space for meeting and communication. For this purpose, 1,000 sqm of built-up area are needed to accommodate further exhibits, state-of-the-art meeting rooms and exclusive hospitality areas.

The Artlife solution

The two-storey Tempus 3, a temporary permanent building developed by Artlife, meets the customer’s requirements in the highest quality. The façade of Tempus 3 has a plastered and thus impact-free homogeneous appearance. Glass surfaces provide generous views in and out and the interior leaves nothing to be desired.

Suspended ceilings with over 600 LED downlights, an air-conditioning system with swirl diffusers that allows each room to have its own feel-good temperature, furniture and floor coverings in object quality, and conference rooms with electronic occupancy systems and high-end multimedia equipment make it impossible to believe that this building is “just” a temporary solution. Even the lavishly equipped sanitary facilities meet the highest standards.

Bright and spacious hospitality areas are not only found inside, but also on the terrace areas on the ground floor as well as on the upper floor. These provide a spectacular view of the outdoor exhibition. Walkways made of wood define the visitor-friendly walkways and lead through the imposing exhibition area, which has been backfilled with several tons of gravel. Of course, the entire stand is barrier-free.
