Set construction for Toyota Germany

Toyota Germany gave a glimpse into a zero-emission and electrified future at the “Let’s go Beyond Zero Summit 2022”. The venue for the six-day event, which was aimed at employees, dealers and business partners, was the premises of Toyota Germany in Cologne. Artlife was responsible for the set and stage construction as well as the decorative design.

The event construction experts from Hofheim delivered individual special constructions, the extension of presentation rooms in the test and development center as well as the stage construction in the Toyota Collection, the showroom with the largest Toyota collection outside Japan.

Elaborate structural calculations were required for the construction of the striking “Beyond-Zero-Gate” at the entrance to the Toyota Collection. The 15-meter wide and 15-meter high gate, based on a Layher substructure, had the appearance of a water arch and symbolized Toyota’s journey into an emission-free future. To secure the mesh-covered and Dibond-clad structure against strong wind loads, Artlife stabilized the gate with eight-ton weights.

The Düsseldorf agency jaeger + haeckerhase, responsible for the concept, commissioned Artlife with the structural implementation.
