Nintendo Trade fair presentation

Artlife for Nintendo at Gamescom

With one of the largest trade fair presentations at Gamescom to date, Nintendo Europe presented itself this year in Cologne. On a total of 2,300 square meters, Artlife realized two brand-strong trade fair appearances for the Japanese manufacturer of consoles and video games with the main stand and the business center in individual construction.

For its appearance at the world’s second largest trade fair for interactive consumer electronics, video and computer games, brandscape creative consultancy developed an inviting and spacious stand design. After the video game console “Nintendo Switch” was successfully launched on the market in March, the aim at gamescom was to give as many visitors as possible an emotional experience with the new console and its games at the Nintendo booth.

Based on the new console, the 1,100 square meter Nintendo booth shone completely in the new CI color red. The booth, which was divided into two by a walking zone, presented itself to the community with numerous interactive hotspots.

While one half of the booth was dedicated to entertainment and live presentations with a large battle stage, an audience grandstand and interactive zones, the focus on the opposite area was on game tester areas and numerous game stations.

Another highlight at the booth was the so-called Red Cube. From the glass studio, whose design is based on that of the Promocube®, Nintendo broadcast live from the booth for the first time this year. The program included, among other things, talk rounds with video game enthusiasts and game sessions that revealed news about a wide variety of games. For this purpose, Artlife, together with its sister company Promocube®, has expanded the mobile event module with a full-fledged studio and transmission technology including air conditioning.

The business center was reserved exclusively for media representatives and dealers. Artlife equipped the 1,200 square meter center with numerous themed, press and meeting rooms as well as the lounge and kitchen area. In the business center, which is located away from the trade fair, trade visitors were able to get a first impression of the upcoming game highlights for Nintendo consoles.
