That’s exactly our job. We design, plan, produce, organize and create exhibition stands, individual equipment and special structures for events and roadshows for national and international companies from almost all industries.
The diversity of our profession brings with it a lot of variety and creative freedom. No two projects are the same, no two workdays are the same.

So that you can get an impression of your future training and also of us, we offer you a four-week internship. During this time you can find out if this is the right profession for you. Your contact persons are listed at the end of the respective training description.
In the following sections, we will introduce you to our apprenticeship professions.
Event managers – the planning
From equipment to budget to schedule – event managers are responsible for planning and organizing events of all kinds. They draw up schedules, are responsible for the budget, coordinate the trades involved and are the contact person for the customer. As the interface between customers and external service providers, event managers keep an eye on all activities.
Bei Artlife erlebst du eine abwechslungsreiche Ausbildung in einem vielseitigen Beruf. Als Auszubildender (m/w/d) wirst Du voll in unsere Arbeitsbereiche integriert, steigst gleich in die Praxis ein und wirst schnell ein wichtiges Teammitglied. Bei der Konzeption und im Brainstorming ist deine kreative Mitwirkung gefragt. Dein Organisationstalent brauchen wir in den Projektphasen wie Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Nachbereitung. Dabei kommunizierst du mit unseren Kunden und Lieferanten – auch mit unseren ausländischen Partnern. Schon während deiner Ausbildung kommst du viel im In- und Ausland rum. Wir nehmen dich mit auf Location-Checks und zum Auf- und Abbau von Messen und Events. Nach und nach betreust du auch eigenständig kleine Projekte.
Während der Ausbildungszeit – in der Regel drei Jahre – erwirbst Du an zwei Tagen pro Woche die theoretischen Kenntnisse in der Berufsschule.
At Artlife, you will experience a varied apprenticeship in a versatile profession. As a trainee (m/f/d), you will be fully integrated into our work areas, get right into the practice and quickly become an important team member. Your creative participation is needed in conception and brainstorming. We need your organizational skills in the project phases such as preparation, implementation and follow-up. You will communicate with our customers and suppliers – also with our foreign partners. Even during your apprenticeship, you’ll get to travel a lot at home and abroad. We will take you along on location checks and to the set-up and dismantling of trade fairs and events. Gradually, you will also be responsible for small projects on your own.
During the training period – usually three years – you will acquire theoretical knowledge at vocational school two days a week.
Bestenfalls hast Du (Fach-) Abitur, oder den Realschulabschluss und gute Englischkenntnisse. Dabei schauen wir nicht nur auf deine Noten. Für uns zählen viel mehr deine Persönlichkeit, dein Engagement und deine Lust an dem Job.

Carpenters – the production
A job with a future. Wood is very much in fashion, and so is the profession of cabinetmaker. It is one of the most popular trades among young people. The best prerequisites for your start into professional life at Artlife.
As a carpenter, you are an expert in the processing of wood and wood-based materials and the manufacture of wood products.
Für die spannende Welt der Messen und Events stellst du als Tischlerin oder Tischler bei uns alle Arten von Möbeln, Messeobjekte sowie Event- und Ladenausstattungen und individuelle Einzelanfertigungen her. In unserer Werkstatt kombinieren wir dafür bewährtes Handwerk mit modernsten Techniken an computergesteuerten Anlagen und Maschinen.
Von sägen, schleifen, hobeln, furnieren und montieren vermitteln wir dir während deiner Ausbildung alles was Deinen Beruf ausmacht. Du erlernst bei uns den sicheren und präzisen Umgang mit leichten Handmaschinen aber auch mit schweren Maschinen und modernen CNC Fertigungstechniken.
Die gefertigten Teile fügst Du zu fertigen Holzprodukten zusammen. Die Montage auf Events und auch auf internationalen Messen wird ein attraktiver Teil deiner Ausbildung sein. Ergänzend besuchst du eine Berufsschule. Hier erfährst du alles über Materialien, Werkstoffe, Arbeitsverfahren, Technologien und Konstruktionen. Auch überbetriebliche Lehrgänge gehören zu unserem Ausbildungsprogramm.

For the exciting world of trade fairs and events, as a carpenter you produce all kinds of furniture, trade fair objects as well as event and store fittings and individual custom-made products. In our workshop, we combine proven craftsmanship with the latest techniques on computer-controlled systems / machines.
From sawing, sanding, planing, veneering and assembling, we will teach you everything that makes up your profession during your apprenticeship. You will learn with us the safe and precise handling of light hand machines but also with heavy machines and modern CNC manufacturing techniques.
You will assemble the manufactured parts into finished wooden products. Assembly at events and also at international trade fairs will be an attractive part of your training. In addition, you will attend a vocational school. Here you will learn everything about materials, working methods, technologies and constructions. Inter-company courses are also part of our training program.

Liebe zum Holz, Interesse an der Holzbearbeitung, handwerkliche Begabung und technisch-praktisches Verständnis sind erstmal die wichtigsten Anforderungen. Ein sehr guter Hauptschulabschluss oder guter Realschulabschluss ist von Vorteil.

A love of wood, an interest in woodworking, a talent for craftsmanship and a technical-practical understanding are the most important requirements for now. A very good secondary school diploma or a good intermediate school diploma is an advantage.
