We are currently looking for support for our joinery:

Joiner/Carpenter (m/f/d) in trade fair construction

Your field of activity:

  • Production of all types of furniture, trade fair objects, special constructions as well as event and store fittings.
  • Working and processing of wood and wood materials with the usual, also computer-controlled machines.

Other tasks include:

  • Preparing construction elements according to cutting plans in the workshop.
  • Carrying out assembly work.
  • Professional execution of all joinery work.

What we are looking for:

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a carpenter, joiner or wood mechanic
  • Several years of work experience
  • Trade fair construction experience is an advantage
  • Forklift license and ideally also a driver’s license up to 7.5 t (not a must)
  • Willingness to assemble and travel
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • High adherence to schedules and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team, commitment and sense of responsibility.

Training positions

Training as carpenter/joiner (f/m/d)

For the start of training on 01.08.2023, all places are already taken.

For the Year 2024 we are looking for young, motivated people with a passion for wood as a material!

About the training – what you can expect:

As a carpenter, you will produce all kinds of furniture, trade fair objects, special constructions as well as event and store fittings. The working and processing of wood and wood materials with a variety of different, also computer-controlled techniques makes this profession increasingly exciting.

During the 3-year apprenticeship, we teach you everything that makes up the profession. The necessary manual and mechanical basic skills as well as the safe handling of machines. You will mainly work with saws, light manual machines, but also with heavy machines and computer-controlled production units (CNC milling machines). You will assemble the manufactured parts into finished wood products. Assembly at events and especially at international trade fairs will be an attractive part of your training.

In addition, you will attend vocational school. Here you will learn everything about materials, working methods, technologies and constructions. Inter-company courses are also part of our training program.

Your profile – your qualifications:

  • a very good secondary or comprehensive school certificate
  • Good grades in mathematics and physics
  • manual dexterity, technical understanding
  • open-minded, motivated and a team player
  • reliable, responsible and committed

Freelance fitters/workmen/all-rounders (f/m/d)

As a freelance fitter/workman/all-rounder you will support our local workshop team either in pre-production in Hofheim or you will be on the road for us both nationally and internationally.

  • You are reliable and obliging, work independently and are also well versed in trade fair and event construction.
  • Solution-oriented thinking and acting are a matter of course for you, as well as the handling of common machines.
