Aareal Bank trade fairs presentation

Artlife creates trade fair presentation for Aareal Bank

Aareal Bank was able to present itself at this year’s Expo Real with a new exhibition stand. The holistic concept for the Wiesbaden-based real estate financier’s trade fair appearance was once again provided by Artlife. The planning and implementation were also in our hands.

The requirement for Artlife was to further develop the stand design of the last performances. The focus of the new concept was on modernity and sovereignty as well as openness to communicate to the outside world. The result is a strong presence in the look of an urban loft with a high close-up and distance effect.

On an area of 160 square meters, Artlife realized a trade fair appearance that was divided into two areas. The 110 sqm main stand with two floors and directly behind it a closed area with six meeting rooms.

The loft-like character was significantly shaped by the dark grey steel construction of the stand. The combination with wooden slats in the façade architecture provided an exciting contrast.
A visual parallel to “Times Square” was created by large billboards on the outside. The large-scale and lively LED projection communicated product and brand messages and, together with the large backlit Aareal logo, ensured visibility from afar.

In the area of the entrance, the façade was opened upwards, which allowed a deep look into the stand and opened up an inviting atmosphere. In the light-flooded interior of the stand, the spacious atrium in the centre provided a view upwards and conveyed openness and transparency. The eye-catcher here was a light installation hanging from the six-metre-high standing ceiling. Dark blue walls inside the stand extended over both floors and gave the design additional depth and elegance. On both levels, meeting corners and lounge areas were arranged around the atrium.

The spatial concept and furniture aimed to create the feel-good ambience of a modern loft. Different materials, such as warm wood and cork elements as well as a concrete look, have a cosy effect and created atmosphere. Plants set natural accents. Individualised design Furniture set colour accents and emphasised the modern character. Together, everything formed a pleasant contrast to the more industrial aesthetics of the anthracite-colored steel.
